The mission of Associazione Genesi is to contribute, through contemporary art, to the creation of a more responsible and socially active citizenship.

Starting from 2021, Associazione Genesi launched Progetto Genesi: Art and Human Rights, curated by Ilaria Bernardi. This interdisciplinary and inclusive project combines exhibition and educational events with the aim of offering on-going training around the subject of human rights.

Progetto Genesi includes a traveling exhibition of the collection and a rich program of educational activities (guided tours, participatory workshops, meeting). The approach is highly participatory and is aimed at an audience of all ages, in person as well as online.

Each event on this journey will concentrate on one of the 4 artists from the Collezione Genesis who have taken part in the iAC. Monica Bonvicini, Binta Diaw, Simone Fattal and Shirin Neshat.
